Rating Photos

Hey guys lets be nice to people who take time out to post these hot pics for us to see. It is really discouraging to see a low rating on your photo. We all have likes and dislikes but I think if you dont like a pic dont rate it. Its very hurtfull to see a low rating on a photo you have worked hard to post. Remember these guys have taken the time to post them. Be kind to them. I recently got a message from a buddy who is so discouraged he wont post any more pics. We need everyones pics to have a nice site. If you like them make a comment. If you dont dont be rude and rate them low.

I don't see how someone can get so offended and not post here anymore because of a stupid rating. Maybe it was a mistake? What picture was it?

All ratings and comments on the posts have to be approved by me or another mod before they're actually posted.

I dont know Derick emailed me all upset he thought some pic was rated low. I agree I have gotten a couple of 1 ratings myself. I personally believe if you have nothing nice to say, dont coment. I understand its by personal opinion of each pic but I never even rate them if I think they are so poor that you have to rate them a 1 or something. Maybe Im wrong but I am just saying so people dont get offended and they still desire to post be nice. Thats all.

I see what you mean, but if everyone who gives a 1 rating doesn't give one at all, and only the people with good ratings rate, then wouldn't that not only make ratings essentially redundant and be totally inaccurate? An example could be that ten people see a photo, and 9 don't like it enough to give it a 1, but don't rate, and one person that loved it gives it a 5 star; doesn't that make the photo automatically have a 5 star rating?

I don't mean to offend anyone, but that's an unreasonable limit on free speech, is it not? I understand that we have to appreciate the people who take the time to post, but we as global citizens reserve the right to give criticism, as long as it isn't hurtful or discriminatory.

Yeah. Law class is good for this kind discussion, no?

There's nothing wrong with free speech, everyone is entitled to rate pictures posted on here. In that case all ratings are approved by us regardless of what rating it is. (Unless someone is abusing, of course) Other sites like saggerboys also have low ratings on pictures (mostly by idiots who like to troll onthere. I think there's a user named norv or whatever who does that), but they are approved and left there. However, unlike saggerboys, stupid comments bashing the pictures will be deleted.

I will also say that Ive only seen like 3 or 4 low rating pictures, and I approve hundreds of ratings a day. So it's not like it's a common occurrence. If I see nothing but low ratings coming from a user, that's being stupid and abusing, and just being hateful, they will be removed.

I agree I got several myself of a 1 and I was kinda of anoyed myself. My feeling is this hey its gotta suck real bad to give it a 1 and if thats the case I wouldnt even rate it. I am just more kind than that I think the lowest rating I have ever given is an 8 but all the pics on this site are so hot how could you not. I think ive given like 100 10's. Thanks again to all the great pics these guys have posted.

sometimes they're rated low by accident, I've hit the 1 rating when I meant 10...it happens, of course you still can't help being a haters "victim" hehe

Not evry1 likes the same stuff. I'm really in2 jeans saggin' on a fit guy, and will tend to give such pics - if they are well composed and are presented with good exposure a higher rating. Simple: that's what I like to see and I rate on that criteria. When people see/hear what they like, they should rate it higher - be it pics, vids, a tv show, movie or whatever. Continual low ratings by an indivudual - regardless of the subject matter and/or its quality, indicates no objectivity and should be controlled.
