Does anyone else hate the sports shorts that come with mesh or cotton briefs sewn inside? They are awful nd I always cut them out.
Why do they make them like that?

Dude, you gotta post some pics of that soon! And maybe some stories with you doing that including some reactions from people. Sounds extreme hot! ;)

A question for everyone - If a store had the same shorts in two versions, one with the inner briefs and one without, for the same price, which pair would you buy?

Vote Lined or Unlined?

Unlined - I wear lycra shorts under sports shorts and the lining feels bad with the lycra shorts too. I always cut the lining out. Why do they make them with lining?

There made with it mainly for swimming with no boxers on underneath so that all your private parts are held and not just hanging loose!

Pointless if u ask me :P

Most definitely unlined. You get nothing outta freeballing in them if they are! Shit hurts. I remember I was cutting the lining out of a pair of sexy silver adidas shorts. The real heavy weight ones. mm. Anyways, my mom came in and I'm on the floor in nothing but socks and sneaks and she goes " What the hell are you doing?!" More suprised about the fact that I was naked I think. Haha. I was just like "they feel better without the mesh." :p

lol - did you have to cut the lining out of the pair you were wearing?
I would have had different ones on while i cut the lining out of them.

they make them that way so that you get support with out wearing a Jock or other underwear

Quite true, it4u. . .but like no_undies says, you can't freeball with the inner lining/pouch in place. And some of us just like showing off in public, lol!

For sure, unlined. Has anyone noticed that companies have started to get away from using all dazzle material, and that weird feeling dri-fit stuff. It's god awful. It's not pleasurable at all, somewhat arousing since I have a super long pair of basketball shorts from the USC student store. It's not the same as soft, silky dazzle.

That's the way fashion goes. Does anyone remember the time when soccer was played in real thick satin shorts (same material as in boxing compitition? I'm still hoping this to come back.

Everyone seems to say no lining. why do they put lining in them then?
It makes it harder to layer them with the lining inside.

i guess they put it so that you can practise sports naked inside but with support for your family jewels, without wearing any briefs or so.

i like no lineing coz i can wear baggy cartoon silky boxers under them and let them hang out the bottom of the shorts mmmmmm and that gives me a right boenr every time i wear them out.
