slow for me too.

I have just installed the site speed tracking method for Google Analytics to see if I can verify what you guys are reporting... for me the site loads almost instantaneous so I need to see if I can track the bottle neck.

Please feed me any potentially useful information you might have...

Ok guys... the Google Analytics _trackLoadTime() method has been installed... not sure where the hell it is reporting too but in the mean time I ran a test at iwebtool.com. These are the results:

Sorry 1.91 Seconds is the load time for the whole page (front page)

sorry didnt reply yesterday, seems fine now on my end, with the exception of the buttons.

edit:
But when leaving a comment, waiting for that to process seems to be taking a it of time still.

A yt friend wants to register but cant read the Image Verification.
I checked and I can't either.

Is it a problem due to the new server? What can I say to him he should do?

I have now amended the sign up process so we are using a reCAPTCHA security setting for the time being. Please ask your friend to register again now as this seems to be working perfectly. Also please apologise on behalf of ourselves for the inconvenience.

I have made some further changes to the server setup and configuration of vBB... After running google PageSpeed I can see where some of the problems are... page size is definitely a big one. Our front page alone is just over 1MB in size so for people on a slower connection this will cause issues... I am going to look at ways to reduce this but I am not sure if it is possible with out making some major changes to the site software.
