maybe its just me, but the chat is really slow at sending my IM's, like I'll press enter or whatever and it'll show up maybe 3 or 4 seconds later , which for a chat program is pretty slow.

Right guys, im not sure how many more times or places we can say that there is a problem with the speed of this site! I have even made a big full page yellow banner at the top of everyone's site explaining that the speed is slow and information to what were doing etc etc.

There is only so many places i can say this is whats happening and to stick with us, its not permanent!

this isn't the thread post system though, this is the chat, and your banner, while useful, doesn't cover the chat, so I'd thought I'd point it out.

I chatted yesterday with two guys, and I just couldn't continue because all of a sudden I was not recieving any answer and it took few minutes just to send one message

Well that happens everyday.... (almost) i don't know why

I noticed the same issue with the Chat last night but I can safely say this is totally un-related to the site itself. We use a third party chat provider to ensure there is no additional load on the server. The issues were offsite and I will be following up with them tomorrow...
