Jace,

I meant to post another update to this thread... I a couple of guys create test threads and upload pics to them, I also did this myself and everything seemed to work. Have you tried recently? Maybe this problem was fixed when we adjusted something else?

Hi, sorry haven't been around much, but just tried again. Shrunk a pix down so it was not too big and it just comes up "failed to upload" 281kb and it still did not work.

Yeah what is up with that? I downscale the pic and it takes a good three or four attempts! I hate to sound like i'm moaning but this is ridiculous (cry) no error msg, just tiresome re-editing of post all the time :-(

Can i ask, is there a limit capacity on the forum for all the members? Whenever i wanna upload it says i've used like i.e 350 of 500kb. This why i'm constantly having to scale down the image to save space. If you can upload like 1mb, howcome i have a capacity? I'm sorry for all the questioning lol. Cheers :-)

Used 245.9K of your Unlimited global upload quota (Max. single file size: 64MB)

That's what it says when I try and attach something, so 64MB I presume.. for me atleast

what happens is when i go to: "choose file" it picks the file from my computer. Then I hit upload, it does this little circle with swirl while it thinks, Then it stops. The error message pops up: "failed to upload"

I have been putting pix in forums for years. There is a definite problem with the site. Upload on other sites all the time with no issues.

The forum i was attempting to upload too I think is called "Jace and his bf sagging" Lots of pictures I put in there already before the site changed....

Doesn't work for me either, can't upload a 220Kb pic to the forums.

BUT the Attachments box under the message writer tells me :

" Used 2.63MB of your 500K global upload quota (Max. single file size: 64MB) "

Is that the reason ? Is the unlimited global upload quota only for admins / moderators ?

Thanks for your help guys :)

Thank goodness. Someone else who shares my frustration. Good question. Is it unlimited file size capacity for admins? Is there a way of giving everyone else this privilege? Cheers folks.

Wolf or Flamey will have to look at this.

You can though just upload images to image websites and post the links here.

well, I can now, but it seems that the dialogue box allowing to search the computer for medias to attach directly to the post is deactivated now, it doesn't even appear. I can only search into pics I already uploaded here, through the "My Media" button. Am I the only one ?

here's an old pic from my already uploaded pics

Ok, sorry for talking before testing ^_^

The attachment box seems to be deactivated ONLY in the three sections from the ANNOUNCEMENT / SITE FORUMS part. It works on the others forums, I tried here :

Thanks CWolf !
