Would i be able to change my Username or would I have to delete my account and start a new one?
But if i have to delete my account I wanna make sure that the username I want is available

Of course you can change your nickname, please don't delete your account for that !
When you go into your profile control panel, in the upper right of the screen (just next to the View New Content button), choose the My Settings menu. There you should find a Display Name tab on the left where you can change your name. Once this done, everyone will see your new name and can find the history of your name changes on the right of your Profile main page. Be careful, I think there's a limit in the number of times you can change your display name.
