You're talking absolute ****!

This. All day. Everyday.

I laugh my ass to the bank every day and I  made a deposit at the ATM this morning and I actually giggled a little bit and thought of SaggerBoyTwinkLover or whatever his name is.

You got $20k from the police, spent $60k in one month and hadn't had a bank account prior to getting the police money - so $40k was somewhere else. But still money to take out of the ATM. hmm

You're talking absolute ****! How am i talking garbage when i'm merely stating facts? Obviously this is because you're an American and aren't aware of what's going on in the UK.

Read what I said Lee. I wasn't disputing your assertion about people potentially dying from a CEW, I was disputing your statement about the police becoming more "taser happy" as you put it. Across the UK 1,000 armed response officers have been hired. How many times do you hear of a police shooting in the UK? It's quite rare to hear of the police shooting someone in the UK.

According to this at least, 4 last year. Idk how many there are in America, but if that list is accurate, 4 is bugger all .. especially as 1 was the whole Westminster bridge event

200* not 20. Typos bro. But yeah that's besides the point.  Nd I thank you for pointing this out.

The point is, when the police F**** up, they pay. It's called justice and oversight. We have this nice little thing here in America called "Innocent until proven guilty in court". Sadly, in reality, that's not the case at all.... especially with allll the media around broadcasting everything and it corrupts the minds of the people, the juries, everyone.... especially when they all have thei own little spin to everything. Right this. Left that. Black this. White privilege this.

Ya know I guess it could be worse though. We could all be living in some hell hole called North Korea or something.......... imagine being locked up in shackles doing hard labor for life?

Exactly, sweet bugger all.

The problem we see in the US, again going back to the Bill of Rights, is that for 227 years since it came to be, the second right for any American citizen is the right to own a firearm; which is pretty insane. Don't get me wrong, I agree with gun ownership and I think that any citizen that wants to own guns should be allow to own guns. Having said that, there are somewhere around 450 Million guns in the US, that we know of being purchased. 450 MILLION! That's more than 1 gun for every citizen...

Couple that with the fact that criminals don't follow any law put forward, hence why they're criminals, along with the ever increasing hatred for the police from those in communities that would rather shift blame off of themselves than try to clean up their own communities, and you can see why there are issues at all in the first place.

I'll provide some facts to back this up, though from a slightly less gun happy nation. The Province of Ontario, in Canada, has recently taken away the ability for the police to do "street checks" because BLM said it was racist for the police to stop black people and ask them questions about where they're going or where they're coming from, even if there was a BOLO for someone matching the description that was just seen in the area breaking into a home (for example). The Province & the City of Toronto also ended the funding for the Toronto Police Services anti-violent crime unit, TAVIS, because again, BLM cried racism.

Now in the 2, almost 3 years since these two things have stopped in Toronto, violent crime has exploded. In 2017 there were 375 shootings with 565 victims, 61 of them dying as a result of the shootings; the highest since 2005's Summer of the Gun and double that of 2014 (the last year for street checks and TAVIS).

All the while BLM is still screaming and crying about the police being racist, yet theyre absolutely mum with regards to the violent crimes being committed by members of the black community against members of the black community, even when it results in the death of a 15 year old boy on his way to the Rec Centre to go for a swim with his friends.

Oh but sorry, the police are the problem.

Finally something I can agree with Dillon. 😂

And please, don't get me wrong, I don't think that what happened to you was deserving; the way you are describing how things unfolded is the part that is suspect.

That's good. nd I was told by attorney not to be specific on the exact circumstances on public forums because I settled out of court with them.... Just following his advice man, I'm sorry.  And believe me. It's a horror story.

Understandable. There are always things that can't be told for various reasons, on both sides of the situation.

Unfortunately, that's not always the case. I never got a red cent for the mess that happened to me, and stories like mine make up the majority.

Just be careful not to lay the blame at the media rather than the overall corrupted "culture" of sociopathy, selfishness, division, and overall jerkery that has been present since... well, frankly, since humanity apostasized from Nature circa 10,000 years ago. People being obsessed with only caring about themselves, selected cliques, and people that are "like" them. But we are all sapient, social creatures - there ain't only not a thing wrong with seeing us all as one big family, it's what Nature intended.

Well I mean they are a terrorist group... And if you think the US is a police state, please feel free to visit the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (North Korea) where you're jailed in a hard labour camp for the rest of your life & so are the next 2 generations after you if you speak out against the Kim regime.

Or maybe try some of the many Middle Eastern countries where there are Religion Police that come and take in you away in the middle of the night if you're suspected of blasphemizing Islam or jail you under sexual deviancy laws for touching another man's hip as you fall over in a bar.

Or perhaps you'd like to go see Chechnya where the Government and police straight up tell your family to kill you if they suspect you of being gay.

The US is nowhere close to being a police state.

Yeah, like SaggerTwinkLover said, they are something illegal…and highly obnoxious.

The UK is turning into a nanny state! The London Mayor in particular, wants to ban junk food ads on tubes and buses.

Do ya think it's because he believes that  we're all too fat and can't squeeze ourselves through the gates? 'oh dear, QUICK somebody CALL for a crane, as this fat tub of lard is stuck'
