Dude if ur just starting out find some smooth pavement. I grew up in Michigan in a town with the S***tiest sidewalks and pavement. Nothing harder than learning on a sidewalk that's cracked and lifted every 3'. Start out slow and when it comes to learning how to ollie start iin the grass or on a surface where the board isnt constantly slipping out beneath u.
