  1. A long time ago I remember seeing a great sag on an episode of COPS and for a long time have tried to find the clip (I saw it on TV). Well, finally, I've found it but a few cruel twists...

On youtube, someone has filmed the tv clip, so it's really bad quality, and the filmer has zoomed right in so you can't actually see the sag!

Then on Amazon, where you can buy the episode, I can't purchase it because I'm not in the USA.

Now, I may be completely overstating the sag that I vaguely remember seeing years ago! But I think it could be worth getting the clip. If someone in the US is able and thinks it's worth a shot, it's series 22, episode 21.

BTW, the youtube clip is here - see what I mean by zooming in!! What do you think?

  2. As a fan of World's Strictest Parents and loving seeing saggers on the show, I thought it could be fun to write a (fictional) script for an episode which features a lot of sagging! So far I've just done the little intro thing (for those who know the show) and like any good media-man have jumped straight to an ad break while I think of more.

HOST: Welcome to a special episode of World's Strictest Parents - the first in which we follow the journeys of troubled twins. Meet Josh and Jake Lansdowne, who are pushing their parents beyond the brink.

NIGEL LANSDOWNE: When the boys were younger it was fine, just mucking around, you know? But now their behaviour is purely rebellious, which is frustrating for Jane and myself. There's no respect.

JANE LANSDOWNE: It's time they grew up. Time they should learn how to act properly, talk properly, dress properly. They turn 18 soon and I want them to be adults, and act like adults.

HOST: Josh and Jake get along well and have the same friends, but that doesn't stop them from fighting and brawling each other almost every day, which upsets their parents.

JANE: I wish they could just behave and be respectable.

JOSH: Yeah dude I pretty much just don't give a **** about much. I smoke, hit the bongs, get wasted, mess **** up generally I guess.

HOST: Josh has been arrested more than 20 times, but this hasn't hindered his carefree attitude.

JOSH: The cops are basically just dogs dude, they think they win when they arrest me but when I leave I win. That's how I see it, dude.

JAKE: I basically chill, smoke weed, chase chicks, all that ****. I haven't gone to school for months but who gives a ****.

HOST: Between the pair, there are six school expulsions, dozens of suspensions and arrests by police, and countless hours of breaking the law.

JANE: It's a nightmare. But, as strange as it sounds, the hardest part is the lack of respect to me. The little things, the things in the home, you know?

HOST: And perhaps the biggest disrespect is the way the boys dress.

NIGEL: They dress like thugs, or gangsters. Why? I don't know, I can't tell you. They have a highly comfortable life here. The closest I've come to a gang connection is that my neighbour owns a motorcycle!

JANE: They wear their trousers so low. They can't even walk properly, they have to sort of waddle, when they walk. It's atrocious.

JOSH: Yeah dude, I wear my pants kind of low. Like, I don't think it's low but my parents do. They make a big deal out of nothing. If you don't want to see my undies don't look where they are!

JAKE: It's comfortable bro. Everyone wears them this low. Our parents are just so old and out of date. Get over it.

HOST: But Nigel and Jane won't 'get over it'. They are fed up with seeing their sons underwear all the time, and say that after about 7 years of the 'trend' it's time it stops once and for all.

JANE: There hasn't been a single day that they actually wore their trousers properly. Every morning at breakfast they come down in their pajamas, which are of course nearly down at their knees! I've had enough.

NIGEL: Once we get the little issues of respect sorted, we reckon they'll be compounded in an overall shift of attitude and behaviour.

HOST: We've placed the Lansdowne brothers with the Reverend Jerry Washington, an American legislator who campaigned for the criminalisation of 'sagging pants', and his wife Yolanda, an educator and healthy living advocate. How will the brothers react to these strong-willed, outspoken strict parents? Find out after the ad break.
