  1. Chapter 11

As the group's hug ended, the two people were knocking on the door to Lars's hospital room. They came in and saw the many teenagers and asked if they could speak to Lars alone. As the group filtered out to the waiting area, a look of relief was evident on all of their faces. About 5 minutes later, Vincent's parents, Luke's parents, and Carlos's family came to the hospital. They greeted their respective children with emotional hugs.

Around this time, the two people exited Lars's room and introduced themselves.

"Hello, I'm Parole Officer Jacob Porello. I'm Lars's parole officer," one of the two said.

"And I'm Mariam Bagley. I'm from Child Protective Services." the other said.

"As you all know, Lars's mother is dead. And, unfortunately, his father is in jail. So, that being said, Lars has no other guardians to take care of him, being that other relatives of his are not in any state to take care of him and take him in." Miriam said.

"Does he have aunts or uncles?" Vincent's father asked.

"All of which are unfit to take care of him." Miriam continued.

"So, what's going to happen to Lars?" Vincent asked.

"Well, seeing that he is still under 18, he will have to be taken into a group home, unless he can find a fit legal guardian to take care of him. And since there are no group homes in the city of San Verano, he'll most likely have to be relocated to a different city."

Vincent just couldn't believe it. At one point in his high school lifetime, he wanted nothing more to not see Lars gone. But, after everything that happened since not even 5 hours ago, he wants to be there for Lars. Everyone in the room had a look of pure utter shock and disbelief. Vincent peered through the window to see Lars sitting up on the bed, crying. But at that moment...

"What if we were to take him in?" Vincent's dad said. Vincent looked up as if something transcendental had just taken place.

"Well, if you were to, there is a judicial process of which you have to go through." Miriam continued.

"I understand. I want to talk to my family more about it."

"Well, when Lars is eventually released, he does need a place to live in. Do you mind volunteering for that?"

"I can do that." Carlos's dad said. "He'll stay with us in the meantime until the situation is figured out."

Vincent is at a loss for words.

As a lot of the people filtered out of the hospital, Carlos and Vincent's families were the last people there for Lars. Vincent and Carlos's fathers were talking about what they'll have to go through to make everything work, but Carlos and Vincent went to the cafeteria to talk among themselves.

Vincent was trying to eat his pudding, but he was just still shocked of what was happening moments ago.

"Vincent, what's up? You like chocolate pudding. You usually inhale it." Carlos said.

"I'm just... shocked. My family is willing to take Lars in. The person who made our lives a living hell months ago."

"Yeah, I feel the same way."

"I want him to get better, but I don't know how I feel right now."

"Trust me. I don't feel much different from you."

A few seconds later, Vincent got up and walked back to Lars's room. Immediately, Carlos followed. As they got back to the room, Lars watched them open the door and stand next to the bed. As soon as Lars saw them, Lars broke down.

"I'm... I'm... I'm so f****** sorry!!" Lars said, fighting through the tears and sobbing. "I'm so sorry for all the s*** I put you two through! You have every f****** right to hate me!"

Vincent and Carlos were not bent on revenge, but rather wanted to be amicable. They wanted to forgive Lars. They wanted to start anew, since they gave Lars a chance to start anew.

No other words were said between them. Vincent, Carlos, and Lars just embraced each other. They all understood what was happening and they just cleared the air of everything that happened between them before this moment.

  2. Chapter 10

Before Lars's lips landed on Hanna's, she reacted. The smell of alcohol on his breath turned her away and she needed to get out of there fast before a mistake was made.

"Um... Lars... I have to go..." Hanna said. She darted out of the park and ran back home. Lars sat there, dumbfounded.

A few days passed since New Years. Everyone was back in school, with sparked relations.

Vincent was walking with Russell and Emma to class, Vincent holding Emma's hand. Hanna crossed their path, seemingly in distress.

    "Hanna, what's wrong?" Russell asked.

"Have you guys seen Lars?" Hanna wondered, with true concern.

"No. And frankly, is that a bad thing?"

    "Russell."

"Then, no. I haven't seen him. He hasn't shown up to football practice these last few days."

"Well, can you guys help me find him?"

"I can. You have to ask Romeo and Juliet if they're willing to help."

Vincent and Emma were staring longingly into each other's eyes. Hanna snapped her fingers in front of them.

"Hey, can you guys help me?"

"Sure," the both of them answered.

"Alright, so after school, we go to find Lars."

Carlos and Luke were walking into school together, seemingly transcendental after New Years.

"What a great weekend, Carlos." Luke said.

"I couldn't agree more." Carlos replied.

As they walked to class together, Blake caught up with them.

"Hey, guys. Have you seen Lars anywhere?" Blake asked.

"No, we haven't. Speaking of which, oddly, I want to thank him." Luke said. "Without him, we wouldn't be together again."

    "Really?" Carlos said.

"Yeah. Blake, we'll help you find him after school.

    "Alright, cool."

After asking around about the whereabouts of Lars in these last few days with people in school, his job at the pizza place, and with trying to get in contact with his own mother, no luck came for the two groups. Eventually, they all met somewhere in the middle with all the action.

Vincent, Emma, Hanna, Luke, Carlos, Russell, and Blake ended up meeting in the boy's locker room at the school. In there, there was some sobbing in a bathroom stall. There was a trail of blood leading up to it... from Lars's locker. They all kicked open the stall where the blood ended and sitting on the stall was Lars with one of his wrists cut pretty deep. Immediately, Hanna called 911 and the paramedics came in a blink.

About an hour later, all seven of them were in the waiting room of the hospital, heads down in desperation.

"Hello, the patient wants to see you all now," the nurse said to the group.

As all seven went into the room, they gathered around Lars's bed. Lars was sitting up.

The room filled with silence after Hanna was the last to enter the room. It was that way for about two minutes.

"My mother died the day after New Years from lung cancer. My grades got me cut from the team. My friends found out... something about me and now they all hate me. I have no one. I have nothing. I have zero to live for. I tried to die, but you guys show up and save a life not worth living. Why? WHY? WHY?! WHY WOULDN'T YOU LET ME F****** DIE?!"

The heart monitor attached to Lars beeped incessantly. The nurse came to calm him down a bit.

Emma looked down and started to sob. Vincent went to comfort her.

"Hey, can you let me and Lars have a minute?" Russell said to everyone.

At that moment, the room cleared. Lars and Russell were looking each other dead in the eye.

"Look, Lars. We have our differences. That doesn't mean I want you to die."

"And why not? I almost killed Vincent. Isn't that karma or some s*** like that?"

    "No."

"Look, I have nothing left in this world. The closest thing I had left was... someone, but they ran away from me."

"That doesn't mean you run away from living."

"Said Mr. Perfect Life himself. You got a family, and friends, and money, and charm. I have none of that."

"And you can have that, too. You have to find it. You found... us..."

"What the f*** are you talking about?"

"Do you see us, Lars? We saved your f****** life! We would do that for someone we cared deeply about."

Lars sat in silence. He started to tear up a bit.

    "You really mean that, Russell?"

Russell never saw Lars tear up before. Russell saw the effect these words had on Lars and started himself to tear up.

"Yeah, you f****** idiot. We actually care about you."

Lars got up out of the bed and went over to hug Russell. Russell accepted and reciprocated the hug. At that moment, the rest of the group came to filter in and also went to hug Lars.

As the receptionist greeted two people, they stated they were here to pick up Lars...

  3. Chapter 9 (Part of the chapter exists in the 18+ Stories area)

It was now December. New Years Eve, to be exact. It's been a little over a month since that day in the cafeteria.

Carlos and Luke were at Champions, the local sports bar and restaurant. Carlos was an avid fan of football, so he took the opportunity to watch it whenever he could. Luke tried to get into it, so he's glad Carlos is back in his life. After a filling meal consisting of wings and burgers, the two guys got to talking rather than watching football. It was 11:00 on the dot.

"So, it's been a month, Carlos. A month of being completely devoted to one another." Luke started.

"Yeah, it's been a great month." Carlos said.

"Have you thought about what you said?"

Carlos locked the door as they went in...

Carlos wanted nothing more than to be with Luke since the break-up. He was just cautious of walking on eggshells with him after the whole pizza delivery incident. He felt that Luke thought the same way, especially since it was similar to how he felt with him and the other people Luke has been involved with.

As they walked over to Carlos's bed, Carlos tensed up a little. This was going to be his first time. With anyone. Luke has been with people before, so Carlos wasn't sure how he felt. As they sat on the bed, Carlos was feeling pretty anxious...

"So... are you ready?" Luke asked.

"Uh, yeah. I'm ready." Carlos said, with a bit of nervousness in his voice.

(READ HERE FOR THIS PART: http://www.saggerworld.com/topic/6142-the-deception-of-sagging-book-3-part-of-chapter-9/ )

"Yeah, I did. I definitely think that we should do it sometime soon. I'm definitely ready. More than ready."

"Alright. It doesn't have to be tonight... unless you want to, ha ha!"

    "I mean, we could."

"It'd be a great way to ring in the new year."

Carlos contemplated it, and he decided...

"Alright, my house, come over at 11:30." Carlos said.

"I'll be there!" Luke replied. "I'll pay this time, by the way."

Vincent and Emma were under the stars atop a hill. After everything that went on with their relationship, they never really got the chance to be alone. They wanted to cherish the time that they had.

"Vincent, I'm glad to be here with you tonight." Emma said.

    "Same here, Emma." Vincent replied.

"Vincent... I have an odd question..."

    "What is it?"

"Um... do you still like me?"

    "Yeah! Without a doubt. Why?"

"Well, we don't see each other as much, and I was just worried that, well, I was boring..."

"Never! You are one of the most exciting things that has ever happened to me!"

Emma has never had anyone say anything like that about her before. She hugged Vincent under the stars. It was around 11:45 at the time.

Hanna was out walking with two of her friends, when a figure approached her. The two friends ran off without her.

    "Cowards!" Hanna yelled at them.

The figure grew closer and it turned out to be Lars.

"Hanna, can I talk to you?" Lars asked with a pleading look in his eye.

"What?" Hanna asked, questioning his motives.

    "Please?"

Lars was dressed in his usual attire, sagged jeans and all, but something about him was off about his attitude. She looked at his eyes and they were red, not from smoke, but from crying. He had dried tears on his face.

    "Um, sure, Lars."

They went to the park, moonlit. As they went to sit down on a bench, Lars just broke down, crying on the bench in the palms of his hand.

    "What's wrong, Lars?"

"Kyle's gone! His family moved across the country!"

    "I'm sorry, Lars."

"It's just that, I trusted him with more than I've ever trusted anyone about anything, even my mom! And he's gone halfway across the country!"

"Well, I'm here for you, Lars. I just have one question."

    "What?"

    "Was he your... boyfriend?"

"No, he wasn't. He made it very clear."

    "So, you're gay?"

"No, I'm bi. I don't want anyone to know I like guys though, alright? Please, don't tell anyone!"

"Fine. I'm still sorry. I wish there was a way I could make it up to you."

    "There is."

Lars leaned in for a kiss to Hanna's lips. Hanna didn't deny it, but the clock was about to strike midnight.

    "Wait, Lars! Let's count down!"

    10... 9... 8... 7... 6... 5... 4...

"3!" Vincent and Emma said on the hill top, about to kiss.

"2!" Lars and Hanna said, about to kiss.

    1!

"Happy New Year, Carlos." Luke said, as he laid next to Carlos in Carlos's bed.

"Happy New Year, Luke." Carlos replied.

I'll let you imagine what happened there...

P.S.: I'm not the greatest at writing sex scenes, but that's the best I could come up with that added to the realism of the book. There are many routes I could have taken, but I liked this one the most. Expect another chapter up tomorrow!

  4. Chapter 8

Russell, Vincent, and Carlos were walking to the lunch table with Hanna and Emma. As they sat down at their usual table, they saw Luke walk towards them, but then he saw Carlos sitting next to Vincent and he quickly switched direction to another table. He looked back to Carlos and as soon as his and Carlos's gazes met, he looked down and sat with a few other people he barely knew.

"This break-up just happened yesterday, but it feels like you guys have been distant for so long from each other..." Hanna said.

"Yeah... it's hard, but enough about that. I'd rather not talk about it now." Carlos replied.

As a few seconds drifted on with uneasy silence, Blake approached the table, slightly nervous.

"Hey, guys. Hey, Carlos." Blake said. "Do you mind if I sit with you guys?"

"Sure, no..." It was then Vincent noticed the black eye on Blake's eye. "...problem."

Blake was a big guy, as everyone knew. He was tall, built, had a shaved head. He gave off such a tough guy attitude that no one dared to mess with him. Carlos and Russell knew him from the football team, and the others knew of him because he made such a presence in the school.

"Hey, Blake, how did you get that black eye?" Emma asked.

"Oh, this? You should see the other guy." Blake replied.

Right then, two other football players walked by with bruises and welts like no other. Hanna, Emma, Vincent, Russell, and Carlos looked back at Blake.

    "Or guys." Blake added.

"What happened? Why'd you fight them?"

"It-- well-- I'm-- " Blake stuttered. "I'm gay."

The group was shocked. Not in horror, but in surprise. He had girls clamor over him before, so it was a surprise to hear him say that.

"Yeah. I'll admit, I tried to have sex with girls before. Tried. I used to tell them I was tired from football practice to make them think I was straight and that's why I couldn't have sex. Yet, every girl I've done that to says it was a dream to be with me. Lies."

"I'm just wondering, why are you telling us this?" Vincent asked.

"No one is as completely as accepting as you guys are. My parents are completely OK with it. It was hard to come out to them. Big all-star football player is gay, my parents were in shock, of course. And I wanted to do this for a long time."

Blake got up from the chair he was sitting in and walked over to Carlos.

"Carlos," Blake said, as he put his hand on his shoulder, "I want you to know, you aren't alone in the locker room. If Lars, or any other football player gives you s*** about being gay, you tell me. Those other two guys that walked by earlier, they overheard my conversation with my parents in the locker room the other day and they tried to fight me. I'll be there for you if they, or anyone else, lays a finger on you."

Blake walked back to his chair and sat down. The group continued to eat lunch with happiness beaming from their faces.

Around that time, Lars was at a table across the cafeteria hanging out with his cronies again. He was texting Hanna about general stuff. Lars saw Luke sitting with other people and the rest of the others sitting with themselves, He decided to go up to Luke and chat with him.

"Yo, Luke." Lars said. "Got a minute?"

Luke looked up to see it was Lars and tried to look the other way.

    "Luke? Yo? Listen, man."

"Why should I listen to you?" Luke said.

"Look, I'm trying to be a better person."

"Ha! I'll believe that when you make the honor roll, become a football star, valedictorian, and go to college."

"Listen." Lars said, making a fist, trying to hold in his anger.

    "Fine. I'm all ears."

"You and Carlos need to work whatever s*** you got between each other out."

    "And why is that?"

"Because that s*** is affecting his football playing."

"So you don't even care about him?"

"Look, work it out! I don't care how, I don't care when, just get it together with him."

"Heh... you didn't take that same advice when you and Kyle were--"

Lars covered his mouth before he could complete that statement.

"Shut your mouth, and fix your s***."

Luke walked away from Lars, seemingly out of the lunch room, but he turned back to look at Carlos. He saw Blake over at their table, and Luke went over to the table. He was over there so fast, no one saw him coming to the table.

"Carlos, I need to talk to you." Luke said.

Carlos was taken aback to this. He hasn't talked to Luke in over a month, excluding the time he and Luke broke up yesterday. He wanted to know why he broke up with him and he didn't care who knew.

"Alright, then. Right here, right now." Carlos said.

"...fine. Blake, do you mind leaving for a few minutes?" Luke replied.

    "Sure." Blake said.

As Blake got up, Luke talked to the group.

"I broke up with you because I couldn't stand the thought of you being with another guy, especially my brother. You said his name and I just freaked out. My brother is bi and I knew you thought about him as a fleeting fantasy, but I've done that before, too, with other guys like Kyle. I don't want to do that anymore. I want to be with you and only you, emotionally, physically, in every possible way."

Carlos felt something more with Luke than he ever felt before. He went up to him and gave him a hug, then a kiss.

"I... want to talk to you later tonight..." Carlos said. "At my house if you can."

    "Sure, no problem." Luke said.

Hanna got a text from Lars that said, "Thank me later."

That night, Luke and Carlos went up to Carlos's bedroom. Carlos locked the door as they went in...

  5. Chapter 7

It's been a month since the whole pizza delivery incident happened. Although everyone was seemingly friends at the moment, Lars still associated with the wrong crowd. He has been texting Hanna more, but no other outside contact was made since that night with Lars between anyone else. As for everyone else...

It was a cool, Tuesday morning in November. Carlos and Vincent were walking to the bus stop to go to school.

"I can't believe that you and Luke broke up yesterday." Vincent said.

"It was a long time coming. He..." Carlos started.

    "What happened?"

Carlos was sitting on his couch at home, watching football with his family. A knock on the front door sounded and it seemed to pierce the air.

Carlos answered the door and it was Luke, seemingly distraught.

"Can we talk for a minute?" Luke asked.

"Sure, let's go to my room." Carlos replied.

Carlos was fathoming a response as to why Luke came to his door while traveling up the stairs. As they approached Carlos's room, Carlos felt an uneasiness, similar to the one when Brandon left in 8th grade.

"Carlos," Luke said as he was sitting down on Carlos's bed next to him, "I can't do this anymore."

    "Do what?" Carlos asked.

"This," Luke directing fingers between the two of them. "I can't do this anymore."

"Are we breaking up?" Carlos asked, uneasily.

    "Yes. Because of you."

    "What? Why me?"

"You like my brother. Of all people, my brother. Do you know what kind of hell I've been through the last month? Seeing my brother's face as one that you like? Having to see that every single f****** day?"

"Look, we are together. And don't act like that you haven't liked other people in the history of our relationship! You aren't innocent here!"

"I WASN'T F****** EMOTIONALLY CONNECTED TO THEM! THEY WERE FLEETING ATTRACTIONS!"

"WHICH LEAD TO OUR FIRST BREAK-UP! And then you had the nerve to text another guy while we were together the second time around!"

The air was tense. It got silent.

"Maybe you're right. We do need to break up. This relationship is full of tension and I don't think either of us want a hostile relationship." Carlos said.

"No, we... can't see each other. Again." Luke replied, holding back tears.

"Are you saying... we can't still be friends?"

    "... it's for the best..."

Luke got up from the bed, tears streaking down his face and ran out the house, avoiding looking back.

"We haven't talked since. It's been a day, but it feels like an eternity." Carlos said.

"Wow. I'm sorry, Carlos." Vincent replied.

Russell was getting his clothes on after getting out the shower. He took a look at his mirror and decided to sag a little, then a lot, then he just started playing around with the different levels of sagging he could pull off. His fun was interrupted by a call from Blake.

"Hey, Blake. What's up?" Russell answered.

"Nothing much. I just wanted to ask if you knew something." Blake asked.

    "Sure, ask away."

"Do you know if... nah, it's a stupid question."

"No, go ahead, ask, man. I don't judge."

    "Is... Carlos gay?"

Russell thought Blake knew that Carlos was gay. Since freshman year, the majority of the school knew because of Lars's incident. But, it wasn't private knowledge, so Russell answered.

    "Yeah... why?"

"I was just wondering. Is he... seeing... anyone?"

"Uh, yeah, last time I checked, he was seeing Luke, if you know him."

"Oh, uh, cool, thanks. Talk to you later, bye."

Blake hung up the phone quick after Russell's reply. Russell was confused. One, if Blake was gay or not, and two, why he would ask him if Carlos was gay instead of asking Carlos himself.

  6. Well, it's not something you can force, but you can influence some type of feelings towards a girl.

I don't know if this is the case, but if you are friends with her already, that will definitely help a lot. Just continue talking to her, staying in contact, and just being a good friend. If feelings persist later, try hinting an attraction to her by doing things she likes (buying her something she would like, make her something, etc.) or you can ask her out then and there.

If she doesn't know her, get to know her. Start talking to her and being around, but not too much where it becomes creepy, or worst, stalker-ish. Just be friendly and follow through with what was talked about before to try and go out with her.

Note that you can't make a girl like you. Just like you, she likes certain people, and that might not be you, but you can give it a try. Just go where things lie and what feels right in the relationship.

  7. I'm definitely straight, but I do like to see sagging on a guy (why else would I be on here?). Although this tiny part of me does like to see a guy, I would say a 1 based on this scale.

Honestly, it's hard to label oneself as a 0 based on this scale due to the fact that we are on a site devoted to sagging, something not in the norm for a completely straight guy to look at, observe, or analyze intently, as the majority of the straight guys on this site do.

  8. Chapter 6

"Alright, so two pepperoni pizzas, plus the delivery charge totals $35.2--," the pizza man started.

The pizza man looked up and saw pretty much all of his mortal enemies. The pizza man was Lars.

In contrast to his usual wear of sagged baggy jeans, hoodies, and New Era caps, he was wearing khakis, a red polo tucked into his khakis, and he still wore a hat... a pizza delivery boy hat. Vincent was the first to be shocked to see this. Vincent always had a staple look for what Lars wore, a staple attitude. Seeing Lars in this brought Lars to a level that Vincent would never see him in.

"...that'll be $35.27..." Lars said, seething through his teeth.

Carlos and Russell stood behind Luke as he was walking up to the door to give the money to Lars, looking intimidating.

Lars felt vulnerable around the group for once. No one to back him up, no gun to intimidate. He wasn't afraid, but he definitely wasn't confident at the moment as well. He saw Hanna, eyes bloodshot from both crying and yelling at Russell. He went to his pocket for his phone. Russell saw this and pulled out his phone from his own pocket.

"Looking for this, a******?" Russell said.

"How the f*** did you get my phone?" Lars said, clenching his fist.

"I found it, and I know you've been texting Hanna. You've got a lot of nerve."

"Look, b****, I'm under a lot of f****** stress, so just give me my phone before I do something I might regret."

"Huh. Big words. Suprised you know them..."

Lars dropped the pizzas and lunged at Russell and pushed him against the wall. Fist clenched, held high, aimed at Russell's face.

"You wanna f*** with me, Russell?! I will f** you up!"

Hanna ran over to Lars, bypassing everyone else who stood up in shock, and grabbed his arm.

"Lars, don't do this!" Hanna said at the top of her lungs, "Stop!"

Lars, seeing the sadness in Hanna's eyes, let go of Russell, dropping him in the process. Quickly recovering, Russell, with the assistance of Carlos and Luke, took Lars down and pinned him against the ground.

“Get the f*** off of me!” Lars yelled.

Hanna jumped into the fray and pushed Russell, Carlos, and Luke off of Lars. “Get off of him!”

“Hanna, what the f***?! Do you know what this guy has done to us?!” Russell said.

    “Yes!”

Hanna locked the front door so no one could leave. “Now, before any of us do something, let’s talk!”

Persuaded, everyone sat down at the couches, distant from everyone. Hanna stood in the dead middle of everyone.

“Alright. I know there’s a ton of tension, but at least let’s clear the air!”

Everyone was stone cold and silent for a minute or two.

Lars stood up and said to the group, “Look, I know you all hate me, but at least let me say this. I realize that I hurt you guys, but can I just say I’m trying to better myself?”

Russell bolted up and said, “How so? You’re still a d*** for what you did to Vincent!”

    “You don’t think I remember?!”

“You should NEVER FORGET! YOU F****** SHOT HIM!” Russell yelled.

“Either way, I get it! And since then, I’ve been talking to Hanna who has made me try to be a better person.”

“Why should we believe you?” Carlos said. “After everything you’ve done to me and Vincent?”

“Because you’re alive right now.” Lars said.

As Lars stuck around for a minute, the air was clear with him and his issues with the group for the time being. Emma sprouted up and asked, “What is SaggerWorld?”

Lars perked up and almost ran out the door, until he was stopped by Luke. Russell and Vincent eyed each other and gave glances, inherently saying “You say it”.

Russell said “SaggerWorld is… a website… dedicated to the style of sagging. Vincent introduced me to it and I’ve been using his account to browse the website to learn more about sagging.”

Vincent followed up, “I made the account when I first started high school to learn more about sagging after Carlos introduced me to it on my first day there. I didn’t think anything of it as anything more than a style. I’m sorry I kept it a secret from you.”

Emma was satisfied with the answer and ran over to hug Vincent, solving that issue.

Hanna then said to Russell, “I just want you to know that I only texted Lars because--“

Almost forgetting about the confidentiality and the slight “friendship” between her and Lars, Lars stood up and to her side and said, “Because she and I are… well, somewhat ‘friends.’ She’s been helping me with some confusing s*** in my life and her and I have been texting a bit.”

Russell was still indifferent with Lars, but he still gave him his phone back. Carlos stood up and shook Lars’s hand, therefore clearing some of the animosity between Lars, Carlos, and Russell.

Lars went over to Vincent. “Look, Vincent, I’m… sorry for shooting you in the back.”

Vincent got up and shook Lars hand. “No problem, Lars.”

Everyone seemed at the least, indifferent with each other. The only person who has an unresolved issue is Luke with Carlos.

As Lars was heading back to the pizza place, Hanna asked him if he wanted to hang out with the group one day. “I’ll text you” was his response.

  9. Alright, so I will finish the next chapters this Saturday.

Reason why there is slower posting of the chapters is because I recently have been going back to school. It's taken up a lot of time, not to mention work and my outside life. Whenever time is available for me, I'll be on here posting chapters of the book.

  10. This chapter took a lot of time to do because I wanted everything to flow naturally. Everything felt forced while I was writing this, but this is the best I could come up with. More than a month of thought is now down in writing…

    Chapter 5

Russell was facing away from Hanna, trying not to get angrier than he already was. Vincent and Emma were looking at each other cutely. Carlos was still thinking about Nick's sag. Hanna had a sense of worry. In the midst of all confusion, Luke was ordering a pizza for the party.

"Alright, so two large pepperoni pizzas. Delivery. Alright, thanks. See you in 30 minutes," Luke said on the phone.

Luke turned around and saw the awkwardness between everyone in the room. No one was talking, but someone had something going on.

"... what the f*** is going on with everyone recently?"

Everyone turned to Luke in confusion. They all had something they were facing at the present moment, but weren’t ready to have it publically displayed.

"It seems that we have more drama going on with each other than we ever did before. What's up?"

    "Nothing's up, Thompson," Russell replied.

"No, don't give me that s***, Russell. You seem more upset than anyone else here. Now, what's up?"

"Look, nothing. Now, excuse me. I need to get a drink."

Russell said the last statement with such animosity, something he reserved for the football field. While he was getting up, Vincent eyed Russell's jeans and the billowing red AE boxers and saw that he was sagging. Low.

"Russell, are you... sagging?" Vincent asked.

"Yeah. Thought I should try it out."

    "Cool."

"Nice jeans, man. Glad they fit you," Carlos said, laughing.

    "Thanks again, Montoya."

"How'd you get into sagging anyway, Russell?"

Russell couldn't answer this without being weird about it. So...

"I... just kept seeing you and Luke sag and I thought I should try it out."

    "Alright, cool."

Hanna pulled out her phone to check if she got a text. Russell saw this and he couldn't keep his anger in anymore.

"Hey, Hanna, who are you texting?" Russell asked, with still some animosity.

"Um, no one. Just checking the time," Hanna replied.

"Really? With the clock right next to you? You aren't texting a guy?"

    "Russell, what are you--"

    "I know you're texting Lars."

Everyone except Emma turned to her with shock and anger.

"You're texting Lars?! After everything that he did to us?!" Vincent said.

"Hold on! Let me explain!" Hanna said, slightly taken back.

"Oh, no! You can't weasel your way out of this one, Hanna! I have Lars's phone! I saw the texts!" Russell yelled.

"I'm not denying that I've been texting him, but you don't have the whole story!"

"There's no reason that you should be texting him! He is a f****** a****** who made our lives hell!"

"Look! You don't know the whole story behind it! And how do you have his phone?!"

"I found it on the bench in the locker room, see?!"

As Russell pulled out Lars's phone from his pocket, his phone fell on the ground and Emma went to pick it up. The phone was unlocked and it was on "the website"...

    "Russell, what's... SaggerWorld?" Emma asked.

Russell was at a loss for words. He didn't want to rat out Vincent, but he didn't want to take all the blame. As Emma looked at the profile, especially the name, she deducted...

"Vincent, are you a member of this site?" Emma asked.

    "What-- how--" Vincent stammered.

"saggerv14? Sagger plus your first initial plus... the age you were when you made the account. That means you had it since last year."

    "Well, um, you see--"

"Look, Emma. There's a good explanation for this," Russell said, trying to back up Vincent.

“What can-- why are--  how are-- ?”

After saying this, Emma broke down and cried a little bit. Her glasses became foggy from her tears. Vincent was trying to comfort her, but couldn’t find the words to say.

“Russell, see what you started?! Now, my best friend is in a wreck!” Hanna screamed at Russell.

“How the f*** is this my fault?! It’s your f****** fault that everything is going wrong!” Russell replied.

Carlos, snapping out of the entrancement of the thought of Nick’s sag, realized the drama going on between everyone else.

“SHUT UP!” Carlos blared out over everyone else’s voice, “Look, there’s obviously some issues going on right now between everyone else, but look at it this way, at least we’re getting it all out in the open! I mean, look at me and Nick—I mean, Luke—“

    Carlos realized his mistake.

    “…Nick?” Luke replied.

    “I meant Luke…”

“Why did my brother’s name come to mind?”

“I just saw Nick before I came here, no big deal…” Carlos said with a little fear.

Carlos never had the thought of cheating on Luke. Nick was a fleeting fantasy. He was loyal while Carlos was always on the backlash of Luke’s antics and behavior with other people, for example, Hanna and Kyle. Luke became a little defensive as the argument went on, despite the fact that Carlos was taller and more built than he was. Luke was muscular as well, but not as much as Carlos.

“Dude, you better not be attracted to my brother…”

“I’m not, and if I was, what’s the big deal?”

Luke was hurt by the statement.

Pretty much at that point, everyone was yelling at each other or was emotionally distraught, in tears. Then, in the midst of all of this, the doorbell rang.

Luke answered the door and everyone was shocked at the moment of who was at the door with the pizza…

  11. Well, for me, I would say that I post pictures on here is because I have no other outlet to showcase my enjoyment of sagging other than on a sagging-affiliated website. I can't just post a picture of me sagging on Facebook and talk about it with my friends as they wouldn't understand it.

I only like the style of sagging, albeit more than that of an average straight guy; I like to see other people sagging and actually talk to someone who likes to sag.

I don't see this site as an outlet for fetishes, I see it as a site for those who appreciate sagging and seek to find others that like it.

    Hope that answers your question.

  12. BACK WITH MORE CHAPTERS!

    Chapter 4

Carlos was out his front door of his house, in a rush. Knowing he was going to be late to the party at Luke’s house, he wanted to talk to him alone for a second. Knowing what Luke has gone through in the last couple of weeks with Kyle and Lars, he wanted to see if he was OK. He always talked a big game, but Carlos knew Luke better than anyone. Unfortunately, Russell arrived at Luke’s house first.

Back at Luke’s house, the doorbell rang. Russell was slightly agitated over the texts between Hanna and Lars for two reasons. One, Hanna is actually in communication with Lars after all of the things he has done to his friends, mainly Vincent. And two, he has such anger directed towards Lars that if something else were to provoke him, he’d probably lose it. Russell was usually a calm person, unless you mess with his friends. He thought about the scene in the locker room. Although he wants to make Lars pay for all that he’s done, he doesn’t want to lose his one chance at a future. Losing his temper would cost him everything.

Luke answered the door, but before Luke could say hi, Russell walked inside and fell flat on the couch.

“Hello, man. How are you? Great, thanks for asking and you? Pretty good. That’s how a normal person answers the door,” Luke said.

“Sorry, Thompson. I’m just a little upset,” Russell replied.

    “About what?”

    “It’s not important.”

    “Alright, man.”

As Luke motioned back over to the couch, he noticed that Russell was wearing some of Carlos’s old clothes… while sagging them.

“Dude, you sag now?” Luke asked, highly surprised.

“I’m just trying it out,” Russell replied.

“Well, nice, man. What brought this along?”

“I just wanted to try out a different style.”

“Well, ease into it. This is the first time you’re sagging in public, right?”

    “Yeah.”

    “Do your parents know?”

    “Nope.”

    “Hmm… becoming a rebel, I see.”

“Hey, you do the same thing, Thompson.”

    “True. I can’t deny that.”

Nick was coming down the stairs. Nick was Luke’s older brother. He was a junior at Temperance. The only reason that he goes there instead of Orenthal is because… well, he wanted to go to Temperance.

    “Hey, Nick,” Luke said.

“Hey, man. I’m on my way out. My friend’s having a party,” Nick said.

“Do I need to cover you… again?”

“Don’t worry, I’m not going to get trashed.”

“Sure, that’s what you said last time and you came in at 4 AM.”

“Not my fault, but I’m going to make sure this time.”

    “How…?”

    “…haven’t thought that through yet.”

“Alright, have fun. I’ll cover you.”

    “Thanks, bro.”

Russell looked at Nick’s jeans as he was leaving out the front door and saw that he was sagging his jeans fairly low.

“Your brother sags, Thompson?” Russell asked.

    “Yeah. All the time.”

    “Your parents don’t care?”

“They do. They just aren’t vocal about it. He’s been doing it since he started high school.”

    “You learned from him?”

    “Yup.”

Russell was very confused how Luke’s brother was fine with expressing sagging, but Luke wasn’t as confident. Russell saw Luke as one of the most confident people he knew.

Emma and Hanna were on their way to Luke’s house and Emma wanted to talk to Hanna about her weird behavior whenever they were around Lars.

“Hey, Hanna,” Emma started, “I want to talk to you about something.”

“What about?” Hanna replied, with a sense of worry evident in her voice.

    “You know what about…”

    “…Lars?”

“Yes. What’s going on between you two?”

    “Nothing.”

    “Don’t lie to me.”

Hanna knew this was going to happen sooner or later. Someone would find out about the “relationship” of her and Lars. There was nothing going on between them, but they were on a somewhat friendly level compared to anyone else in Hanna’s friend group. Carlos and Russell have animosity with Lars and Vincent hates Lars for everything he’s done to everyone. And now, it was time to fess up of what Hanna has been doing behind everyone’s back.

“…Ok, well, I met this one guy named Kyle. He and Lars were… something… and I just, in terms of acquaintanceship, talked to Lars a couple of times. I texted him once and he and I just started texting basic things about our lives.”

“Well, be careful. You know what Lars has done and what he’s capable of.”

“Don’t worry about that. I threw away his gun, so he won’t be causing any more trouble with that thing anymore.”

As the conversation ended, Hanna and Emma were at the front door of Luke’s house knocking on the door. Luke let them in and Russell saw Hanna come in. Russell got up and went to the bathroom.

“So, is everyone else here yet?” Hanna asked Luke.

“No. Vincent’s still next door and Carlos is on his way. He had to help his brother with something,” Luke said.

    “Ok, cool.”

Emma was texting Vincent about how she was at Luke’s house. Vincent, although he was next door, was taking a while compared to the usual promptness he shows whenever he comes next door.

Next door, Vincent was adjusting the height of his jeans. He only exposed the waistband of his boxer briefs to try out sagging. Vincent was being more and more influenced to sag since most of his friends do it. He’s been restrictive about it since he wouldn’t know how his parents would react as well as his friends. His interest also has been aroused since he and Russell “co-own” an account on SaggerWorld. He wanted to see what all the hype was about. Moments after playing around with his jeans, Vincent saw the text from Emma and immediately ran next door to meet with everyone else.

Carlos came to the door as soon as Vincent did and with no interaction with each other, Luke opened the door and let both of them in.

Carlos was obviously blushing a bit, not because of Luke, but because of someone he met outside a couple of minutes ago.

Carlos was walking to Luke’s house, but in his hurry to get there, he bumped into Nick, Luke’s brother.

Nick dropped something in his hand and bent over to pick it up. Carlos caught a glimpse of Nick’s sag and blushed a bit. He didn’t mean anything by it, but he wasn’t upset to see Nick’s sag.

“Hey, Carlos, right?” Nick said, coolly and suave, which was his normal demeanor, “You’re one of Luke’s friends. You got a nice sag going on there. Talk to you later, I’m running a bit late.”

Carlos was shocked. Not many people address a sag out in public. He was happy to see that someone else liked his sag. Carlos continued to walk to Luke’s house and met up with Vincent as soon as he got there.

As the group got settled and Russell came out of the bathroom, the party started...

  13. Well, I'm not going to be on SaggerWorld for about 2 1/2 months since work is about to pile on for me. So, if you do need to get in contact with me, I'll be on my Facebook, if I'm on anything dealing with sagging, in the coming weeks. You can expect me to be back on in November, near Thanksgiving time, as well as in December, during the holidays. During that time, I'll be writing a bunch of chapter and will post them up when I come back on.

    Peace,

    Allan

  14. Chapter 3

Russell and Carlos were on their way to Luke's house. Still fueled by the excitement, Carlos couldn't contain his happiness throughout their walk there. He had never been this happy since... well, he's never really been this happy.

"I still can't believe we won the game yesterday!" Carlos said. "It's just... amazing, how I was the cause of us winning!"

"Yeah, it was pretty great..." Russell said.

"You alright? You've been pretty down today."

    "Well... it's nothing. Forget it."

    "Alright, man."

Russell felt around his pocket. He took out Lars's phone that he found last night. Lars got 7 messages, but Russell didn't check those. Just the one from Hanna last night. Russell felt betrayed by what Hanna did. After all of the crap that Lars had done to the group of friends Russell associates with, Hanna actually texted him. He wanted to talk to Hanna one-on-one, but he didn't know the right time.

Vincent was browsing SaggerWorld a few minutes before he left for next door. He saw that Russell had posted a few comments on some pictures. Before he closed the browser, OfficialSag messaged him:

OfficialSag: hey there man. seems youve become a lot more active on here

Russell obviously had a lot of interest with sagging as well as Vincent. Russell was never afraid of voicing his opinion. Maybe Vincent should step outside of his comfort zone and...

saggerv14: Yup. Plan on being more active on here in the future.

OfficialSag: awesome. keep watch for updates with the site

saggerv14: Will do. I got to go.

Vincent felt a bit more comfortable with being on SaggerWorld. Although seeing Russell be more invested in the site more than Vincent ever was, Vincent wanted to try something he never thought about doing...

Luke was at home getting the place ready. A few minutes before people were expected to arrive, he flashed back on his talk with Carlos...

Luke and Carlos were sitting on Carlos's couch. Luke's eyes were obviously bloodshot from tears. He seemed slightly flushed in the face.

"Why are you thinking about transferring... to Temperance?" Carlos asked.

"Well, I haven't been completely honest with you Carlos," Luke replied.

    "What do you mean?"

"I haven't told you anything about me. I let you tell how you were slightly untrusting with people, especially those you want to be in a relationship. So, I want to tell you things about me."

    "Alright. Go ahead."

"Alright. Well, first of all, I'm bi."

    "Well, I knew that."

"Here's why. Even though I'm attracted to both sexes, it's more... in-depth than that. I can't see myself with one person for the rest of my life. It's not impossible for me, it's just that I've never found the right person to invest my time into. I always seem to jump from one person to the next. I... just can't commit."

"Well, then, why are you with me?"

"That's just it. I've never committed fully. You make me want to try. You actually take an interest in me. Never have I found someone like that. You trust me. I want to trust you the same way, but recently, I haven't done that."

    "How?"

"So, I've been talking to this person on Facebook, a guy named... well, his name isn't important. I talked to him about everything I just told you. I felt as if I was cheating on you, emotionally."

    "...anything else?"

Carlos felt as if something more was behind Luke telling him all of this.

"Well, I met up with him... at his house..."

    "...dude, just go..."

    "No, Carlos--"

"What?! You want me to hear that you cheated on me?! With some guy on FACEBOOK?! You've got a lot of f****** nerve coming here..."

"LISTEN, CARLOS! I didn't cheat on you!"

"Well, what am I supposed to think?!"

"JUST LISTEN! I didn't cheat on you. I went to talk to him. I told him we can't talk anymore. I have a boyfriend and I really should be talking to him with this stuff. Never would I cheat on you, Carlos. You mean to much to me."

    "You swear?"

    "On my life."

"Well, then, why are you thinking about transferring to Temperance?"

"Well, Lars showed up and saw us talking and assumed the worst. I don't know why Lars was there, but he looked pretty angry. I ran out of there before he laid a hand on me. I don't want to worry about my life every day if Lars and I are at the same school."

"Well, look at it this way. Vincent is still going to Orenthal after being shot by Lars. You can do the same. We'll back you up, no matter the cost."

Luke just seemed happy to know that a huge weight was lifted off his chest. The doorbell rang.

  15. I feel as though I'm losing base of the story of what it was meant to be: a story involving teenagers' perspective on sagging. It's become more of a high school drama with sagging being on the backburner. I'm going to try to make sagging more of a bigger point in this story.

  16. Chapter 2

Orenthal 34, Temperance 35. Thirty seconds left in the 4th quarter. Orenthal's ball, 3rd down.

The cast of football players on both sides were drenched in sweat. Orenthal's blue and gold jerseys were nervously shaking. Lars was on the far right of Russell's perspective while Carlos was on his close left. Russell hiked the ball and quickly glanced at pretty much the whole field in a split second. He saw an opening to Blake, their wide receiver. He threw it about 20 yards to Blake. Blake missed it by about a foot.

Twenty-five seconds left. 4th down. This was it.

This would decide if Orenthal would win or lose.

"Alright, team! Huddle!" Russell belted out.

Everyone gathered. Time was running down.

"Everyone get f****** open! Do whatever it takes! Break!" Russell said.

Russell then grabbed Carlos's arm. Russell looked Carlos in the eye and looked left and then right quickly, hoping that Carlos would catch what he was saying. 15 seconds left.

Russell hiked the ball. Carlos ran right behind Russell and Russell quickly handed him off the ball. 10 seconds left.

Carlos dodged and ran with breakneck speed down the field. 5 seconds left.

    Carlos tripped. Game over.

A few seconds passed. Complete and utter silence. Orenthal cheered as if they had just won the Super Bowl. Carlos quickly looked around and saw he had made it and had tripped into the end zone. His team picked him up and carried him into the locker room.

Vincent, Emma, Hanna, and Luke all ran to the locker room to congratulate their friends.

The locker room was abuzz with bolstering cheers. The school newspaper got a picture of Russell and Carlos together. The team gave Carlos the game ball. Overall, this was a great night for Carlos.

"Carlos!" Vincent said, walking up to Carlos.

"Vincent! Glad you made it!" Carlos replied.

    "Dude, great game ender! Amazing!"

"I was shocked I made it to the end zone!"

Hanna, Emma, Luke, and Russell pulled Carlos and Vincent out to the hallway.

"Guys, that was a great game! We need to celebrate!" Hanna said.

"Well, tomorrow, we could hang out at my house," Luke said.

    "Awesome. Can't wait!" Russell said.

After all the hype and festivities ended, Lars, Carlos, Russell, and Blake were the only people left in the locker room. Lars tried to get dressed as fast as possible in order to prevent confrontation with Carlos and Russell. He got a text from Hanna saying "Good game. Happy for you." Lars didn't reply and put the phone on the bench next to him. Russell put on his basketball shorts on right below his ass and his jeans right in the middle of his thighs. Blake noticed this and felt compelled to ask this: "Why do you wear your pants that low?".

Lars didn't answer and walked out of the locker room with his stuff in tow.

Blake was a pretty big guy for a sophomore. He worked out almost everyday and stayed fit. His life was devoted to fitness. He didn't have many friends on the football team since he intimidated many of them. He and Lars used to talk since they were both offensive guards. He didn't think much about Lars at that moment and just pretty much went home soon after.

Russell and Carlos got changed. Russell saw that Carlos was sagging below his ass in Levi's, something Carlos rarely wore.

"Hey, Montoya, why are you wearing Levi's? You never wear those," Russell asked.

"New school year, new style. I felt the need to change my style a bit," Carlos replied.

    "Huh, not a bad idea."

"You're thinking about changing your style?"

"Maybe. Do you still have some of your old hip hop wear?"

"Yeah. I'll give them to you tomorrow, if you want."

    "Awesome. I'll take them."

As Carlos walked out of the locker room to go home, Russell was changing into his jeans, Levi's to be specific. He decided to sag them a bit. He started right in the middle of his ass and they gradually got lower as he walked, which he wanted. His red American Eagle boxers were beginning to become exposed. His parents were waiting so he hiked up his jeans and walked out to the car. Russell saw Lars's phone on the bench and picked it up. He saw the text from Hanna on his phone and started to get angry. Not at Lars, not at Hanna, both people involved.

  17. So far in the book, Vincent has been faced with many different personalities of people in his first year at a public high school. Carlos, his best friend at school, has been in a difficult on-off relationship between Luke, an adventurous kind of guy. Emma, Vincent's girlfriend, has been a quiet soul throughout everything that has happened, but that seems like it will change later in high school. Hanna has been faced with becoming "friendlier" with troublemaking Lars, despite everything he has put Vincent and company through. Russell, Vincent's good friend and Carlos's teammate, has become more interested in sagging since he's met Carlos and it seems to have shown others' interests in sagging as well. Overall, life will never be the same for this group of people and it seems as it will get more complicated with new people coming into the fray.

    Chapter 1

Vincent woke up and checked the time. 6:30. He had beat the alarm he set for today. His first day of his sophomore year of high school. Things were looking up for him. Although at the end of his freshman year of high school. he has had a great summer. Hanging out with friends, his girlfriend and him are doing great, and his shoulder is pretty much healed. Today would be great to see them again at school. Vincent got dressed, grabbed a bagel, and walked out the door to the bus stop, meeting Carlos along the way in the process.

"Hey, Vincent," Carlos said as he maneuvered along the street to catch up to Vincent.

"Hey. Excited for today?" Vincent asked.

"Yeah. Should be great. Let me see your schedule for a second."

As Carlos glanced along Vincent's schedule, Russell ran up behind them and caught up to them.

"Hey, Goldsworthy, Montoya. Ready for today?" Russell said.

"Yeah, definitely. Great schedule, man. Looks like we have a good number of classes together again."

"Nice. Russell, what's your schedule look like?" Vincent asked.

"Same as Carlos's. I decided that I should look at some classes he's taking so that he can help me in them."

"Nice. Oh, when's your first football game, guys?"

    "This Friday at 7."

"Alright. I think I can make it. Just got to make sure."

"Hey, guys," a familiar voice said.

Luke walked up to the group, walking along with them.

"Hey, Thompson. On your way to Temperance?" Russell asked.

"Nope. I'm staying at Orenthal," Luke said.

    "Really? What changed?"

"You guys. I couldn't start another experience at high school. I'm deeply invested in you guys. I just can't let you go. I don't give a f*** what Lars does to me. As long as I'm with you guys, I'm great."

    "Awesome, man. Glad to hear."

The bus pulled up to the curb as soon as the group of 4 got to the bus stop. They boarded and headed to Orenthal.

Outside the main doors of Orenthal, Lars was talking to his group of delinquents, obviously a missing Kyle is nowhere to be seen. Lars was skating on thin ice with the administrators, so he had to be careful about what he would do or say. Hanna and Emma were walking under the awning through the front doors. Hanna turned her glare away from the direction of Lars and Lars did the same.

"Wow. You and Lars obviously hate each other," Emma said.

"Well, wouldn't you hate the guy who shot your boyfriend?" Hanna replied.

"I don't like him at all... but it seems like something else is there between you two."

"Not at all. What makes you think that?"

"Well, before your dinner with him and Kyle, you never even glanced at him, but since then, you guys look at each other for a split-second and look away. What gives?"

    "Nothing, Emma."

    "Something, Hanna."

Hanna knew something was there, unbridled hatred between her and Lars, but was Emma on to something. Obviously, the feelings between the two are mutual, but she doesn't want to be associated with Lars at all.

"Lars, why are you looking at that prep b**** all the time?" one of his followers said.

"What do you mean?" Lars replied.

"Well, you were just looking at her a second ago. You never look at her."

"Well, I f****** hate her. You know that."

    "Whatever, man."

"Alright, I gotta go. Gonna go to class."

"You're going to class now? F***, Lars, what happened to you over the summer?"

"Nothing, man. Don't want to get in any more trouble."

"You live for f****** trouble, man."

    "See you, guys."

Russell was browsing SaggerWorld on his phone secretly. The only person that knew about him using SaggerWorld was Vincent, who was sitting right next to him. There was no new activity on saggerv14's (Vincent's) wall.

"Are you thinking about ever deleting your account?" Russell asked Vincent.

"I don't know. If you want it, you can have it. You've obviously took lessons from the site. You're starting to sag your Levi's." Vincent said, in a hushed tone.

"Yeah, but not a lot. I just want to try it out for a while."

    "No problem there."

"Why don't you try it out for once?"

Vincent pondered this. He's obviously been on the site for a while and is interested in the style of sagging. Russell started sagging from being on the site and hanging out with saggers, pretty much the same as Vincent. Why hasn't Vincent started sagging?

    "I couldn't tell you."

As the bus stopped at the front of the school, the group of 4 guys met up with the girls and began their sophomore year, not knowing what's ahead, going into uncharted territory...

  18. Chapter 16

Luke had just woken up. His disheveled caramel colored hair was in his eyes. Today was Carlos's birthday. He was feeling guilty of what he had done last night...

Luke was talking to a friend on Facebook.

"So, why haven't we been in a relationship? You've told me details about your relationship with Carlos, and it doesn't seem like it's going anywhere," Kyle said.

"I still have hope in Carlos. Sure, it's not moving as fast as I want it to, but I can't just give up," Luke replied.

"Then, why are you talking to me?"

    "What are you saying?"

"You've told me details about your life that you've never told anyone else. I don't understand why you don't tell Carlos these things if your in a relationship. Carlos trusts you since he told you his private thoughts. Do you trust him?"

    "Well--"

"It's a yes or no question. There is no in-between."

    "I-- it's a grey area."

    "So, you don't trust him."

    "I'm not saying that."

    "So, you do?"

    "I'm not saying that either."

"Then why are you pulling him along?"

Luke was quiet at this statement. Carlos was never the one stringing him along, Luke was. Carlos instilled a huge amount of trust in Luke with starting a relationship at first. Carlos told him so many things about his life, but Luke remained blank about his. Carlos was afraid of starting something again with Luke after what he did. What's to say he wouldn't do it again? And with Kyle? Luke closed Facebook and just sat in bed and just thought. About Carlos... and Kyle. He trusts Kyle with more emotional things about his life. He's technically cheating on Carlos in the emotional sense, a side he never expressed with him.

Around 5 pm, Carlos and Russell were tossing around a football in front of Carlos's house.

"So, excited for tonight, Montoya?" Russell asked.

"Yeah, definitely. Excited to get everyone together," Carlos replied.

"Awesome. Hey, although we got a group gift for you, I got you a present. From me and my parents. It's in my bookbag."

    "Alright. Let's get it."

As Carlos walked in to his own house, Russell told him to close his eyes. As Carlos's eyes were closed, Russell pulled out a gift box and placed it in his hands. Carlos opened it and was in shock and awe at what it was.

"Yeah, it's a custom New Era hat with the design on your hoodie. I remember seeing you with it on in the hospital with Vincent. Thought you might like it."

"Dude... I, I don't know what to say..."

    "You like it?"

    "I love it, man. Thanks."

    "No problem, Carlos."

"Dude, that's the first time you called me Carlos."

"It is, huh? Alright, I'm going to run home to change for the party. Be back by 7."

"Alright, man. Thanks again for the hat."

    "No problem at all."

Seven struck, and Emma and Hanna were getting ready to leave Emma's house, but then Vincent called Emma.

    "Hey, Vincent," Emma answered.

"Hey. Do you guys have the gifts?" Vincent asked.

"Yeah, we're on our way out now."

"Cool. Have you guys heard from Luke at all today? I tried calling and texting him earlier, but no answer."

    "No, not at all."

"Well, I'll try again. It's not like him to not text back."

Luke's phone was on silent. He was at Kyle's house.

"And that's why I came over," Luke answered.

    "Really?" Kyle answered, confused.

"Yes. Carlos and I are good for each other. I just can't let him go. I just never give anyone any information about my life. I think I was just vulnerable with you."

"How? You don't even know me."

"I never want to lose him again. Just giving him anything emotional might drive him away."

"How do you know unless you tell him?"

Luke was silent. He was never open with Carlos. Luke never actually had a real relationship outside of just sex or just attraction. He never was really stable with one person. Being with Carlos proved to be difficult, but he was determined to make it work.

"You're right. Look, you're awesome, Kyle, but I need to tell Carlos everything. About us. And more importantly, about my personal life."

    "I completely understand."

    "Thanks, man. For everything."

Kyle and Luke embraced for a bro-hug. As soon as they did, Lars came in, shocked at what he was seeing.

Vincent, Russell, Hanna, and Emma were at Carlos's house celebrating his birthday. It was a small event for the supposed 6 of them, just hanging out and some pizza, nothing major.

"Here you go, Carlos! The gifts and the card are from all of us," Hanna said.

    "Thanks, guys. Love the clothes."

"Only the best for you, Carlos," Emma said.

"Read the card, Montoya," Russell said.

As Carlos rushed to open the card, he found the engraved dog tag with all of their initials on it. He wore it and displayed it proudly. Continuing on with the card, there was a generic "Happy Birthday!" message and also a heartfelt message on the opposite side of the card.

"Dear Carlos, over the course of our freshman years and this summer, we've never thought we would've all become as good of friends as we all have. You have been awesome and hopefully throughout high school, we will still all be best friends. From the popular athlete, to the princess, to the nerd, the skater guy, and the bulletproof vest. Happy birthday!"

Carlos shed a tear and hugged them all. He wished Luke was here so he could hug him.

Luke ran out of Kyle's house before Lars could lay a hand on him. Kyle tried to hold Lars back from doing anything brash and irrational.

"Yeah! You better f****** run, b****! If I ever see you again, I'm going to f*** you up!"

"Lars, what the f***'s wrong with you? Why are you so angry at him? Do you know him?"

Lars tried to hide everything from Kyle, but the truth was bound to come out...

"Nothing. I'm going home. Don't ever talk to Luke again."

"And who are you to stop me from talking to people?"

    "He's bad news!"

    "How so?"

Lars just walked home after Kyle asked that question.

"You do know I'm going to talk to whoever I want, right, Lars?"

    "I'll talk to you later..."

The next day, Luke went over to Carlos's house. Carlos was donned with most of the gifts he got last night, especially his new New Era cap.

"Luke, where were you last night?"

"Something came up last night. I'll talk to you all about it as well as some other stuff if you have the time now."

    "Yeah, I do. Come in."

"But, before that, I want you to know one thing. I might be transferring to Temperance."

Carlos let Luke into the room so that they could talk...

  19. Interesting. What is the relationship between sagging pants and drug ? I thought there would be none, but if people think this way, I think we can do nothing about it... Personally I am 100% against drugs.

What do you mean be "war a grill" ? I don't get what you're trying to say here.

Some people think there's a correlation to sagging pants and drugs. In my personal experience, I don't do any drugs or deal any drugs. And it's pretty much a social stigma embedded with criminals.

And he meant "wear a grill". A grill is jewelry for teeth. In the past, rappers used to wear them.

  20. Me, my girlfriend, her friend (girl), and a guy friend of mine were hanging out at my apartment this Saturday. We were watching a movie and out of the blue, my girlfriend's friend asks me:

"Why are your pants so low?"

At the moment, I was sagging some Rocawear jeans about midthigh with some white basketball shorts resting midass and some grey plaid boxers. My plaid shirt was curled up against the seat, so she saw my sag in full effect.

I answered, "Because I like to wear them this way."

Her and I have had brief interactions before, but she never really noticed my sagging before or she never talked about it. Kind of caught me off-guard.

She came back with another question, "So, are you involved in drugs or something?"

I responded, completely confused. "Why would you think that?"

"You've seen the news, right? People who sag their pants low usually are involved in drugs or they have a gun."

"What kind of logic is that? And to answer your question, no, I don't do or deal drugs."

My guy friend saw I was kind of irritated and he was so confused. He knew me since high school and knew I was almost always on the honor roll and other stuff like that. So, he had something to say.

"Appearance doesn't dictate who someone is, you know."

"I know. He just has the look to him. I mean, if you ran into him on the street, wouldn't you be pretty afraid?"

"Well, I would be if he had a ski mask."

My friend knew I wore a ski mask during the winter, so I got what he was hinting at. At this point in time, everyone's attention was away from the movie. I got up and went to my room and about a minute later, I put on my ski mask and hoodie. I came back out to the group of friends and I threw my girlfriend over my shoulder and ran around the room. The look on my girlfriend's friend's face was priceless. My pants kept shifting down so I had one arm on my girlfriend and the other on my jeans to keep them up.

After a while, my friend, my girlfriend and I were dying of laughter. My girlfriend's friend thought it was hilarious how I proved a point.

"I don't know what you were trying to do there, but that was hilarious!"

"See? I'm not that scary," I responded, ski mask and hoodie still on.

    "Who said you were?"

So, all in all, a pretty hilarious day. And I proved a point; that's always a good thing.

  21. Anyone find themselves lying about their virginity to new people?

With most of my friends, they know I'm a virgin, but I have been approached by women. I just never met the right one. I know it's a little cliche, but that's my personal opinion. I mainly tend to lie to newer people that don't know me as well, as well as some people online.

    Anyone else do this?
