Looks like you are at the point where you just need to swallow, take a deep breath and do it. From what you have written everything seems right with ur folks and they will, basically, be receptive to what you have to say. Like BigMike said, don't get into any shouting matches - if that happens I'd just stay quiet - except maybe for an "I'm really sorry - but that's how I seem to be and I can't help it" - then leave the room if you can. Ur folks will spend a lot of time talking about it themselves and should be left alone.

oh boy. dude, next have 2 come mom n dad - who r gonna find out sumday, neway (if they don't already suspect). acutally, they're prob the best place to start. think about gettin both of them in a conversation - without ur bro - n casually say that there are some gay guys and girls in school and ur wonderin if u (ur folks) think that's a choice they made or if they think it's a natural ("inborn") thing that happens to people. Wot they say is ur clue on wot to say or do next. if it goes right, then spring the "sometimes i kinda wonder about myself - how does a person no?" on them n go from there.

At this point u haven't really commited urself either way but u have opened a door
