Let's leave aside the civil rights angle for a moment and ask: does no one in Florida realise what a monumental waste of time and money this is? I'm not even going to say that something like "this could only appeal to an untra-conservative fascist" because that's not true. Those people have much better financial sense than that. Also, he's been pushing this for six years? I thought that senators in the US were importatnt, powerful politicians. What is this man doing? And furthermore, how can an educated man be so ignorant as to how education works? He thinks kids won't get into college......
