@Astg94 almost. the main thing is how u feel. if u don’t care whether do they know or not, it’s probably that u don’t care, not like closeted. but if u feel anxious about what are they gonna say or react or whatever, and u’re like literally in the closet and can’t move to either side, then u’re closeted.

@olwdg, Gotcha, thank you for clarifying… I’m kinda knew to this term… so now I got what you’re saying… my apologies for asking… I’m a bit of shy person to ask, but glad I got out of the shell to blurt this question out lol.

Technical term is " in the closet" it's basically where an individual is scared to admit their sexuality. Either because of their cultures, surroundings or way of life. It isn't the easiest of things to deal with. There is still so much phobia even today. But it was much harder during the 80s when you'd get sacked for being gay or lesbian and everyone hated you if they found out because they thought you'd give them AIDS. In this century we have so many protection laws that were not available back then. I'm proud, I'm out and I am not afraid of who I am. First stage is self acceptance what others think isn't important.
