In my area, grindr is just about the only hookup app used for gay/bi guys. I stopped using it recently but i had been using it since I was a few month from 18. A lot of people don't like having to pay something to hook up or find friends/a relationship.

From my experience, I find it's best just to have time to yourself. Don't go out looking for a relationship or even sex with others, just hang with friends, chill at home with favorite shows or movies. Just best to do other things. It's not bad to talk or think of him but try living for you now, just you not the two of you.

It's not really forcing, tbh. Like it's something I've always been curious about doing only I want it to end up going well. Not end up a poop-show.
